Zugzwang had a host of guest artists, but Nucular prefers the intimacy and special dynamics of the quartet for an instrumental suite and some songs that reflect the year just gone by. Blues, funk, rock, jazz, reggae are blended seamlessly together but can still astonish and surprise us! The enigmatic tenderness expressed in the song ‘Almost Saw You’ evokes the anxiety of Nuclear War.

He tells of his adventures: his jubilatory encounter with Ursus Minor in ‘Doin’ the Do’ and a more poignant autobiographical account in ‘Baby Come Home’.
